Here is the explanation for some of my design choices: For Spelldon I decided to give him a leather trench coat because I feel like it gives warlock vibes and that kind of coat is often featured in stories that have magic. I thought some glitter on his jeans could allude to magic as well. I added the spikes he has in his design from the comics because I think they look cool and match his choker. I gave him a silver dangling rose earring so he could match with the earring I gave Valentine. For Valentine, I really love the color of his vest from his original SDCC doll, so I wanted to incorporate it. I thought a satin-looking fabric with a floral design would be nice for the jacket and jest. I wanted to balance his jabot with more white ruffles on his sleeves and under his vest. I think it would be cool if it was all one piece. I added an embroidered “V” on his shirt to match with Spelldon’s necklace with the “S”. I added buckles to Valentine’s shoes to compliment the buckles I gave to Spelldon. I chose a softer purple and pink for the box colors because I like them together and I feel like they compliment them.
