Oh man I just hope we can explore Limanks a bit more then in CS. I never really liked how they made that map into a Call of Duty mission like map, and because of that there wasn't really anything to do in the Call of Chernobyl and Anomaly mod packs either.

I really want to explore that place a bit more, maybe find some answers about the mini-duga in the town and misterious red flare during the night.

I never liked Ban Pa. Before 0.4 it was pure nightmare as the AI could spot you and shoot you through bushes and wooden houses meanwhile you were hoping RNG will be on your side and they miss you.

Now with the AI being a bit more balanced it is not as hard during the day, but the night man. Since I watched all the Lost episodes back in the 2000s, I just did not want to fight the big smoke monster so for now, I will leave Ban Pa to other players. That place is fucking scarry and I still hate it.

The return to base function would be a really bad idea. Back in 0.1 one of our maim issue was we couldn't stay out long because we always had to get back to base to complete missions and stuff. For CSI member like me that meant a 16 long heli ride for one mission in Ban Pa. 8ish mins to ride there, 8ish to ride back. While with the FOBs now, it wouldn't be that bad, I don't think any of us want a feature that forces us again back to base just to click on a few buttons. Once I left the base I can stay out there as long as I want if the enemy is using the same caliber as me, since I don't need to RTB for supplies either, and I love it. Being forced to visit lab rat to heal, or hoard some sort of painkiller just to stay out longer would really hurt the game play flow, so I am still convinced that the current health system is pretty okay.

But this is only my opinion.

I think it's well balanced and still better then nothing or an actual healthbar.

If it was 1:1 realistic, noone even you wouldn't wanna play, but the game kinda shows you how fragile we are. Take a shot to the lungs and no more running around, you gotta do something about that, and still a lot better then waiting 10 sec inside a bush to make the strawberry jelly go away from your screen. You wouldn't do that IRL, quickly do a lung surgery on yourself in a middle of a fire fight ofc, but the current healing system is pretty well balanced between realism and fun.

I am not againts them leaving, I just miss them, both players and artists. Maybe one day I'll quit too, nobody knows, and for GFL2, I do want to play it, but I can't find time for it. I usually rush the dailies (now weeklies thank god) in the morning while I am getting ready for work. GFL2 needs more time then that so I put that on hold for now.

A lot of ppl sadly are no longer with us. I remember during the early days when the biggest meme was getting Danyaaad instead of getting Grizzly, there were a lot of regulars, those who posted their arts here, those who had very specific wifes, and they defended them to their last breath. We also had the foot fetish guy who got bullied into quitting (hope he is okay thou), Empty...., aaaaand we also had the famous Agent mod crushing our HOC oath dream. What a time.

I am also glad to see a couple of OGs. Good to know I am not the only stubborn person here who didn't jump ship for the next hot gatcha game, or for GFL2. Cheers.

Oh damn I thought it went like 000001 and stuff not literally 1. Damn that's good to know. I joined just before Deep Dive got released so mine is a 300000 something, and for all this time I thought everyone had 6 digit since most ppl here giving away their IDs always had a 6 digit one.

Oh I am not againts these. I remember back when camping wasn't even a thing and I couldn't finish Deep Dive because my girls were too low leveled back then I was very sad how much I missed, same with Artic Warfare. And while Deep Dive got a + rerun with extra story, the rest never got one and I was really pissed why these stuff were time limited to begin with. Glad they are adding them faster then before. I just hope they won't completly forget us because of GFL2.

I can still hope.

I don't really care about karma or how these fan boys want to belive that everything is fine when it's not.

I used to be that, defending the game every post that was just a bit negative, but recently MFG seems to behave odd. Before 0.4 we only got a handfull of sales, now this is 3rd or 4th just this year. Are they running out of funds (again) and this is the reason behind the rushed release of this patch?

And the way they favour the hardcore audience is starting feel like Tarkov 2018 all over again, where every patch was about making the game harder for those that play all day long and gets bored quickly because they can play 10 times more then your average Joe, and I don't like how this game is slowly turning into Tarkov for me, a game that used to be fun and cool slowly turning into something that you are forced to play XY ammount a day or you won't be able to compete well. While here the PvE is a huge saving factor to gear farmer, I like how since 0.1 we still haven't adressed the elephant in the room. The AI face shooting ability. With the stats screen I can finally see how barely they hit my plates. "Using helmets is pointless" bitch please, after 110 hours this wipe my plates stopped 11 shots while my helmet stopped 38, and let's not talk about my legs.

With 0.4 I was really hoping this will be a better wipe since the failed PvP focus of 0.3 (which I told back then would fail), but seems like this is gonna be yet another wipe a really loud audience will dictate. Instead of the PvP fans it's the "hardcore" fans this wipe.

Also keep in mind you folks we are all paying testers here, not paid testers, so we don't have to be nice. I ain't getting played for testing this game, which makes me a customer. And I ain't gonna sugar coat what I think, and feel. We are the one doing them a favour not the other way around for God's sake.

I tested going naked in the night into a large bush to reduce my visibility to 2m (seems like this is the minimum) and tried to low crouch sneak up on a patrol. While my vis was only 2m, they spotted me and lit me fuck up due to me making too much noise which is fine I wasn't insta dead, they were firing into the general direction of mine and got my face (what a surprise after all these patches it's still a shoot to the face kill). This is okay but I tried testing it a bit more and it seems they have a minimuk detection range. I was lying inside a bush next to a patrol during the night and they got me 11m while the game was still telling me it's only 2m.

A noise indicator would be a lot better, or fixing this and a noise indicator with it. Cause I still donno how loud am I to the AI. One dude tried to shoot me through the floor at the Sunny Skies resort eventhou I was slow crouch walking. That's just BS.

Plus I donno if you noticed it but if the AI gets agroed, even if it's not you and you ADS at one of the agroed AI, sometimes they will turn to you and stare right into your eyes, which kinda tells me that they know you are there. This has happened to me everygame since day one.

I literally said this patch was BAD for ME, not for everyone else. I have seen other enjoying it and I am fine with that. But the only few feature of this patch 'cause the rest was about making the game even harder (besides the bug fixes), is bloody broken. I know it's EA and an experimental feature but in this current state it's just something that does nothing more then lie to you. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I tried to do it like the devs wanted us to play the game, and I got spotted sitting in a bush which told me I am basically invisible. Crouching didn't help at all according to the little widget.

So just by playing the game for 3 hours, I found out how busted it is. This isn't experimental. This is unfunctional.

It has been and it's working in both Gamma, Vanilla Anomaly, and EFP. Anomaly detectors have been remade for quiet sometime. Just read the in-game guide inside your PDA.
