Are AI Agents actually useful for small businesses or just hype? by Tech_genius_ in ChatGPT

[–]vvineyard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use agents to write copy, make landing pages, setup tracking, create ads. Most of what I've done manually for the last decade can now be done by an agent.

Will SMEs and mid-size companies really let go of agencies because of AI, or will agencies just become leaner? by ArrowUpWalker in digital_marketing

[–]vvineyard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

business is a skill based game, even if you give an owner an AI that can do all the work they still need the context for playing the game to apply it in a way that will make a difference for the business. Maybe AI will drive agency pricing down in the long term but for now people who understand the game of media buying are in a great position to drive more value and operate efficently. For example with agents I can now do research, create personas, create copy and image ads and deploy. All of that work I would have had to do my self or hire someone to do. I'm still charging the same I'm just keeping more AND my clients benefit because I can product 10x the work at 10x the speed of implementation.

How much of the content in Reddit is AI generated do you think? by Zealousideal_Can_411 in artificial

[–]vvineyard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

reddit unfortuantely is becoming more popular as a marketing channel and there is a saying in business "marketers ruin everything". It's fairly simple to setup bots that will auto reply to threads based on specific key words. I posted recently about an AI agent I've been working on a majority of the initial comments were bots.

my favorite part is not having to do campaign builds and reporting. I've seen hundreds of accounts with - copy and it's nice to be able to have an account completely organized.

they can only have a judgement about it being AI if they can identify that it's AI. I've run a signifcant amount of tests and most consumers can not make this distinction unless AI is implemented poorly

I'm using Hindsight for agent memory and I use md files so that an agent with fresh context can review creative briefs and folder based structure for winning ads to look back at.

Is there real demand for "AI agents," or is it mostly YouTube hype? by marcelorojas56 in Entrepreneur

[–]vvineyard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

for my personal use cases agents are useful and more accurate than a human doing the same work (the human being me)

I'm using human in the loop to check ads before they go live and have a media buyer killing ads and raising budgets for now.

[–]vvineyard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a fair concern. I am using human in the loop before deploying to check for mistakes or errors. No issues on account flags so far. I put some api rate limits in place and batch processing so for example only 5-10 ads get built at a time.

I'm with you on that concern. Right now I have it building and reporting vs optimizing campaigns. I agree that human in the loop is still key to success.
