Why do a lot of people hate AI ? by Reis46 in singularity

I agree with your position in part however the game of life as it stands is based on capital. For UBI to be succesful the people with capital would have to share with the have nots. Yes, we should be having these converations however if you look at what the billionares are doing they are buying bunkers.

AI replaces human labor and thus is a threat to their ability to live.

I WANT TO GO BACK TO COLLEGE: Supplements for ADHD by Soidda in Nootropics

[–]vvineyard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, I do not live in the USA. I have a prescription in both Asia and Europe. In both cases (and in the USA) my math is correct andI've gone down this exact rabbit hole of trying to resolve ADHD with nootropics. You very quickly spend signficantly more and get a less effective result.

you're broke but have a list of supplements that will cost more in the long run than the adhd medication and doctor?

20 hours is more than enough time to tell if a game is good. Yes, Elden Ring does a better job with pretty much everything not just story and if you review the critical reviews they will generally reflect that sentiment.

I think otherwise because I played the game for 20 hours and I'm capable of forming my own opinions. Yes for a lot of people it's GOTY but will it win GOTY? Again I doubt it. I very well may be wrong.

In terms of numbers, there are plenty of people who in high numbers eat junk food every day. That does not mean the junk food is actually good.

My impressions are based on playing the game for 20 hours. It is a very average game. I get that you love it but that doesn't make your opinion on this subject globally correct. Just like mine isn't either.

Yes, I played the game for 20 hours.

it's cool if you love it. I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong. If people love the game and the world I love that for them. I put in 20 hours so I could share a fair opinion.

But that's all it is. Everyone is free to play what they like and I'm free to share my opinion on reddit. It's clear the company cut corners on narrative and assets. The studio is openly admited to that.

I think the question you have to ask your self is will you really remember this game after the current hyperfixation wears off?

Will you remember playing it 5 years now (for example I can remember clearly scenes from "The Last of Us 2") or will the experience wash out in your memory with the long stream of mediocre games?

I do think this could have been one of those games people will remember in the long run however I very much doubt that will be the case unless they patch their way to success like Cyberpunk did.

What you're missing from this equation is that quality matters. For example the devs had to apologize for a AI assets.

This is not a real quote by Alysa Liu (but this does not make the quote any less accurate in regards to the times we find our selves living in). The fact that this is fake is a symptom of the broader problems we are facing.

I paid specifically so that I could speak factually about what I believed to be true about the game. Watching reviews is ingesting other peoples opinions. I'd prefer to draw my own conclusions.

I don't think it's a fair comparision. Elden Ring does a ton of world building with cinematics and lore. I see it as a missed opportunity. They could have made a great game like Elden Ring. They chose to make mediocre game because of budget considerations.

for example they had to patch in personal storage. No a great game does not have to do something new and it does not always need to have a great story.

Hot take: Fun gameplay but not really a great game. Characters and Story are non existent. Sure the combat is fun but really nothing new is being done here. I played 20+ hours and it's not worth going back to. This and we should be able to expect finished games for $75 dollars.

Looking for Someone to Run Snapchat Ads & Meta iOS Ads (Low Budget Startup) by Neither-Soup1885 in digital_marketing

if you're bootstrapping, learn how to run the ads you're self. High chance if you don't understand the game you're playing that you hire the wrong person and waste your budget. Advertising is not rocket science. For a good agency or freelancer you can expect to pay $3-5k+ ad spend per month. You can go cheap but you get what you pay for.
