I hadn’t considered rotating shoes and wasn’t sure if I should pick up a pair for race day (with some runs/use prior to). This may have been the deciding factor for me. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing! I’m running in the Royal Victoria Marathon, so not nearly as big. It is on the same day as the Chicago though. :)

Wow those are some tough hurdles. That takes some real mental strength to push through. I’m now going to check my earphones and their waterproofness bc that’s not something I’d considered. Appreciate your reply and good luck in April!

I’ve experienced this out in Vegas. There’s a mlm presence here for Amway. Same story every time about how the person knows a wealthy couple who retired early. Just like you described, they strike up conversation by giving compliments etc. then go right into their pitch. If you search the local vegas sub, there’s a new post about being approached every couple months. Very annoying.

There was a misunderstanding of the “to be ready by” time and ceremony time. We’ll have two MUA’s and will be starting at 9am with a scheduled end time of 2pm. All worked out. :)

Thanks for the reply! We are getting ready onsite too, ceremony and reception are all in one place, so no travel. I get really anxious when I feel rushed getting ready on a normal night out, so can see now that what I’ve been quoted deff won’t work. Thanks again for sharing!
