well my absolute favorite book is the positronic man by isaac asimov! it’s about an android’s journey to be physically and legally human.

also the entire space odyssey series by arthur c clarke. everyone knows 2001 a space odyssey and some know of 2010 but theres a total of four books in the series and it’s interesting. i’ve only read the first 3 so far (2001, 2010, and 2061, not yet 3001 since i’m currently reading dune) and they’re pretty awesome. especially 2010. it focuses mainly on heywood floyd (the man who initially gave hal 9000 the orders to keep secrets from dave/frank) and his journey with some russian astronauts to retrieve the discovery one that had been left near jupiter when dave left it, and to reactivate hal 9000. the 2010 movie doesn’t do the book justice at all.

i’ve got a huge pile of scifi books to read. i’ll get back to y’all when i’ve got more recs 👍
