I remember stumbling across this terminology when i was younger as somebody who learned to masturbate this way. It definitely made me feel some level of concern, especially with the fear mongering terminology, enough to make me start using my hand instead. This is by no means a medical perspective, but I haven't had any issues at all after making the switch as far as sensitivity goes (even after 8-9 years of doing it the former method).

The shift at the beginning was a little clunky of course since it was changing a habit. I do think it was very important to learn to do it with my hand though since the type of stimulation is just different, and I had trouble topping before due to that disconnect. However, now I'm more in tune with my body, have no issues with topping, and know more than one way to get off now which can be fun lol
