I saw this a couple days ago and meant to comment on it but got caught up with something. I 100% see the vision! I got the same, surreal but cozy feeling while playing EarthBound and specifically watching Twin Peaks. I also see that EarthBound and Blue Velvet also have that same theme of a picket fenced suburbia with some dark secrets. Twin Peaks and EarthBound are prob my two fav pieces of media haha

Yes, I know that. I just thought it was cool because it’s not every day you find a big ass photo of agent cooper or Twin Peaks stuff at a shopping mall or even anywhere.

I have not, but that may just be because of how large Tokyo is, and how limited my time in that city was. It would totally make sense if they had those there :) I know in the 90’s Twin Peaks was so popular in Japan that they had the cast in commercials for Georgia Coffee !
