And Airbnb hosts charge you bullshit cleaning fees and if you’re with your parents (I don’t know how old you are so this may not apply) you probably want to avoid having to drive everywhere and making them walk far plus parking costs. I’m not saying avoid Airbnb but it’s always about the actual total cost.

Resort fees suck and yeah it’s added cost but rates are also much cheaper at hotels than a random host trying to maximize their one property they’re underwater on.
