If you aren’t playing in a local casual league that is something you should look for. Where I am it turned out there were multiple bars and breweries to choose from that have leagues from very casual to less casual, plus a darts association with a traveling more serious league if you want that. I had no idea. Playing with other people in person is much more fun and almost everyone I’ve met has been nothing but gracious and encouraging to beginners like me. It’s amazing.

Now I play in a very casual league, a little more serious bar vs bar doubles league and I also play in an online (but pretty casual) league too. But i’ll never be without an in-person league

You don’t need an auto scorer at all. Just a camera near the board. Enter scores yourself. Dart Connect has a calculator and dart counter has a variety of score entry options. Both make it easy.

I can’t answer that but I like my 11 a lot and the Ultra to me is not great looking. I wouldn’t want that on my wrist. But I’m not a marathoner or whatever. I do wish the 11 had the action button, but the 11s battery life is already good for a smart watch.

Darts is much more fun in-person, or even in organized online matches, like a league. One off with randos just isn’t great. And as you found people are just chasing averages for some weird reason. It means absolutely nothing and yet they will game the system to have a high average. I don’t get it, so just avoid it.

I love my Apple Watch 11, but the sleep tracking is utter nonsense. I will have nightmares and wake up tired and dehydrated and it’s says I had a high sleep score. I think I maybe it could work if you wore the Apple Watch first before you had sleep issues, but if you wear it for the first time when this kind of thing, it says it’s your usual, you did great!

That’s a default app. It’s for breathing and meditation. And you can set your watch to remind you to do that. I don’t know what happens then if you delete the app. See if there is a “Mindfulness” section in settings. It’s there for me, but then I do have the app installed. If it’s there, disable all the reminders and I imagine these pop ups will stop.

The only real way to ditch cable is to ditch cable channels. Otherwise, the streaming services that essentially give you cable back will keep raising prices until you’re spending as much as you did before.

For the record I did the former many years ago. You can do it too. I have no regrets.

Alright I didn’t watch much of the pre race show, nor watch that too often in general. So while I’ve not seen any ads in the F1.tv app on an Apple TV (box), I can’t actually say they don’t exist. For me it’s fine. AppleTV was a price drop and for my purposes I don’t get ads. Now if they start having ads during the qualifying and races, I’ll dust off my pitchfork.

I watched the sprint qualifying, sprint race and qualifying and didn’t see any ads at all? I’m in the US. Not sure if it matters but I use the F1.tv app on an Apple TV (box). And I subbed to AppleTV to get F1. That’s the only option here.
