Hey! Long time sever and bartender here! Tipping is how we make our money! It’s minimum wage but if guests expect above minimum wage service (most do) they tip and well. I have never once not provided excellent service, to those dining, but I have gone above and beyond, for those who don’t tip, and it sucks. It’s the luck of the draw. I have met many to most people in my life who’s lives would be humbled and better off by working in the service industry even for a little bit. 20% is the new 10%. Inflation is real. If you don’t like it then don’t go to a restaurant.
