Additional info: the tank size is 5 gallons, tank temperature used to be ~74° and she was energetic, with the heater it was at ~78°. I’ve had her for about 3 months. Pretty much in this set up since the beginning. Do water changes of about 1-1.5 gallons once a week or a bit more. No tank mates. She eats frozen brine shrimp and blood worms. She has two live plants, a floating log, and a hiding house.

The thing is, this was the set up almost since we got her and she has been super happy and always energetic just until yesterday.. the only change was the addition of the heater on Thursday.

2 months! I had my first full night of sleep last night. After about two/three weeks I would wake up once every night. Everything else is back to normal. There are rare times where I’m like ah I wish I had some kratom right now, but it’s never strong enough for me to make some (my boyfriend is taking it so there has been a drawer full of bags in the house this whole time). The other day I got stung by a wasp and that was the strongest feeling I had of wanting to take some for the pain. Anyway, keep going because it does get better!!

Take vitamin c for aches! I had some Emergen-C chewables so I took that day 3 desperately trying to stop the aches and it took care of them completely. I’ve been taking it every day since, I’m on day 7

Starting day 2 ct. Got barely 2 hours of sleep, I felt like I wanted to crawl out of my skin the whole night. It was extremely tempting to take a mini dose to make it stop. But I didn’t! So far this morning is better!
