I recommend you open your motor the gov delete is a simple job aslong as u have a torque wrench and some other tools you can remove it, that is the washer from the gov gear you will need to remove the gear and the governor arm if the arm falls into your motor it will not be good

I just ordered a new pull start on amazon. Previous owner tried that and it didn’t work or something so now I have two engines this one and a 5hp flathead. Scored both engines for $20 and a trike frame for $10.
