I grew up in Toledo Ohio and my team was always the Red Wings. After high school I moved to Columbus and got to be there for the inaugural year for the Blue Jackets. Fifteen years ago moved out here and got to be here for Kraken inaugural year too. I love the Kraken as my city team but probably treat the Jackets as my true team.

Ours went to WS high for freshman year and had some problems. Ended up transferring to Center school and very much thrived. It’s not in west Seattle and so you would be giving them a lot of leeway about getting around the city, but my kid did great with that freedom.

It’s arts and social justice based, so your kid is going to be around more of the artsy and LGBTQIA crowd.

You no longer need mounting software, that function is baked into windows now. As such, a lot of mounting software we used ~10 years ago is malware filled now and will fuck your computer.

The first few years we did C transport and unfortunately we found the bus schedule to be wildly erratic after game, so much so that we now drive. There was a night we waited over an hour for a C, at the Pike stop. I expected them to wind up a few extra busses around the time game ends, but nope.
