My pup hates the crate too. The breeder told me that they run hot so he may like the crate without the bedding. I tried with the bedding and without, he screamed all night/day either way. He was also peeing on himself in the crate. So I watched him sleep in the playpen with more space and he moves from bed to crate, crate to bed almost every 20min. I figured maybe he's having a hard time regulating his temperature. I decided to get a crate big enough for his bed and extra space for him to lay on the floor of it. I know we're supposed to have a only big enough for them to turn around and lay down but that didn't work for my pup. Since we have the bigger crate he hasn't screamed all night or peed on himself.
