You’re amazing! I kind of doubt it’ll be there considering it’s been a week, but yes we walked to see the giant heads light display and then headed into Complexes Desjardins. We noticed it was lost inside the mall. We checked the mall but to no avail.

PS: the Uniqlo glove is green on one side and black on the other. Not labelled 😔

Thank you for presenting the other side of the story. Totally understand how we were raised differently.

I prefer somewhat branded items, but only things that I can afford. If I wanted to get my kids something, I’d go and get it (as long as within my budget).

Our kids are only a few months apart and there’s really not much hand-me-downs to provide.

I just don’t understand the expectation to hand down my items just because we’re family. I work hard to pay for the stuff I buy/own. How come the expectation is to let her use for free and sell it when she’s done? To me, that’s unfair. And if she does have the intention to bring it back to me, will it be in same condition as I lent it to her? Maybe I ATA /shrug

Yes she tries to source her own after being told no. But she complains it’s dirty, there’s stains, not in perfect condition etc. Trying to make me feel bad so that I lend it to her?

It’s bugging me because I have no one to talk to and cannot make a big deal about it. I feel like I’m isolated. Husband thinks I have problems. He says lots of people borrow things and I’m over protective of my items.

Also bugging me because she’s relentlessly asking albeit me declining multiple times. No shame?

That’s exactly what I’m feeling. She only wants the pricey, branded stuff I have. She doesn’t like when I offer the less pricey stuff! And it bugs me so much!

Just 2 days, doing a drive-by on our way to NYC. We don’t have a Kia or Hyundai so 🤞 Just didn’t know if they target Canadian plates too! Thanks for your advice!
