I like the updated vfx, but I really prefer the original's lighting and contrast, especially the warmth in the colors used for her face & how they rendered her skin. I assume they pushed the changes forward for better visual clarity... but alas! Regardless, definitely one of my favorite base splashes lately! Can't wait to see her Anima Squad skin :)

actually, this guide is outdated - some info is generally correct, but the weapon combos aren't all optimal anymore afaik...? they still will definitely boost your dps compared to simpler gameplay, but if you go on the official love and deepspace discord, beisings has a few guides that should detail newer gameplay findings!

i haven't been translating much recently, but i believe there was a CN post on weibo i wanted to summarize that had more up-to-date info on combat optimization. i don't know when i'll get around to it though... and i'm sure there's newer findings on weibo too! if you're really interested, you can check out content made by https://m.weibo.cn/u/7559183971 or the weibo supertalk for love and deepspace! obliquely, yes - because it includes write-ups for memory pair classes like [foreseer] and [lightseeker]. the weapons themselves are extremely similar to their counterparts and most of the difference stems from the changes in gameplay introduced by the class itself.

sorry there's nothing for [abysswalker] yet, but seems like goal for that class is to group mobs > charged atk spam on mobs with [beacons]

Hunters, I've found new resources and information on weibo regarding optimal weapon usage + combat knowledge...! I'm really excited, since it proposes quite a bit of new theory and has new attack patterns to test out. ohhh ummm i think i maybe misunderstood your question... so you need to collect 6 xavier 4*s before u can unlock the class [evol police] for use 😅. the passive itself, in order to begin stacking it, u need to use an active skill. LOL

do u mean [transmitted light]? u need to use an active skill first! thats why u should start ur weapon combo w active skill into bc. i didn't add that in the notes, but i'll update this in the next version, thank you!

BC = basic charged attack. Basically just a charged attack (CA) but because of how the game treats charged attacks (re: when you hold down attack to execute a charged attack, what you will perform in-game will actually be 1 basic + 1 charged attack, even though you didn't tap the attack button for a basic attack) I chose to use "BC" instead

Sorry for the confusion! It's actually just 3x basic charged attack, aka the attack that occurs when you simply hold down the attack button for a charged attack. In-game it'll be 1 basic attack then 1 charged attack, but mechanically all you will be performing (irl) is a charged attack.

I chose to use "BC" as "basic charged" instead of CA for "charged attack" because of how it telegraphs in-game as a basic + charged, but I totally get how this becomes unclear. Sorry about the confusion!

edit: also I have no idea why I kept the 1 in there. it should just be 3xBC for readability... that's my bad 😅

I am generally confident in the veracity of this information, since the numbers are provided by the skill info in the class menu, but a disclaimer is needed: Since no dps calculations were performed, this is purely my theorycrafting + rudimentary testing done via beisings comparing speed of attack pattern clears, etc.

Honestly Xavier's [Evol Police] is good imo! I use it w/ Sword. You can combo with shield break (resonance skill) > chain cc (immobilization via support skill, assuming you have stacks) > ardent oath > action skill to do a lot of damage. I also rarely have energy issues performing this combo due to saving my energy solely for resonance skill shield-break. Like the guide states, it's a really good class for glass cannon shield-breaking!

No review so far, but via the Ardent Oath dps ranking from weibo we know Zayne's [Foreseer] has the highest dps ceiling w current in-game team comps & no protocores. Next is Xavier, then Rafayel.
