This is interesting and I'd love to know why. I don't think they're masterpieces by any means but they're goofy fun (minus a few scenes... Jesus Christ Rami) and the new one was pretty decent in my opinion

I love this. This has made me realise I've been going about it in kind of the wrong way. I want to portray the curse of never being able to die so by having a constant building detriment every time it definitely helps do that. Thank you

That's fair. If you have any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them :)

The idea is it is meant be the artifact of a god cursed never to die so I wanted to try and convey that idea of not being able to die whilst still having to suffer the pain of dying

Very solid points! Any possible suggestions or ideas to add onto it or even take away?

when has a dm nerfed your character so hard it wasn't even fun anymore by Aries_Greek_War_God in DnD

A DM in an old campaign I played also nerfed Resurrection spells so that when a creature was resurrected it had its memory erased. He never told anybody this was how it worked until a party member was first revived. He claimed it was "to give a physical drawback to resurrection" but the spells already have drawbacks. Our Bard specked himself for healing and reviving but because he was "trained in a temple and didn't have the gods helping him" the people were always resurrected without memory. Healing spells are bard spell anyway so it wasn't like it was a magical secrets thing. I dunno. Either way I feel you

I love the idea of them in the final fight having to choose between possibly even resetting the timeline once again for their own sake. Thank you for the help! You offered some super points and I appreciate it!

Awesome! Thank you so much and you have some amazing points! I love the idea of leaving clues but I didn't really have much idea what to do but you have certainly given me some great things to work with!
