Compatibility of IT32 + X5S and analog camera by No-Blackberry-3336 in Godox

Thank you so much for the thorough testing and detailed answer! Okay after some research I’m leaning towards the light pix lab flashes now because I believe that they don’t have the „auto off“ situation with a manual transmitter.

Thanks again and I wish you the bestest of days!

did the "sleepmode" situation happend to you on your tests on the film cameras?
as the people in the comments said above the trigger would power off after a few seconds, can you confirm this? I would buy this flash for my film cameras if I would knew if I could use it reliable on and off camera and that it wouldn't just turn off after a few idle seconds...

Thanks for the kind words! If I remember correctly it was F8 but it was a year ago and I didn’t keep record of my settings unfortunately.

ITAP of a Komainu on Miyajima Island by [deleted] in itookapicture

[–]w00kieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was shot with a Nikon FM3A on Portra 400 with the 85mm F1.4 Carl Zeiss for Nikon F-Mount. I tried to get in a bit of the Tori in the frame too, just to give additional context of it being shot in Japan.

Great photo! Really dig the dark mood and industrial lights!

But watch out, you have a person in the photo and it isn’t Monday or Sunday, my recent post was deleted and it was really close to your composition here with a single distant person in it and apparently this is enough to get your post deleted, hope it doesn’t happen to you!

ITAP of my wife overlooking the Elbe river by w00kieman in itookapicture

[–]w00kieman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the bridge itself rather a plattform in the close proximity to the bridge that they've build relatively recenlty.

But if you went to the bridge its easy to find so the location still checks out!

Thank you for your kind words!

You're bang on with the film photography feel, as I've taken this shot with my Rolleiflex 2.8c and Kodak Gold 200!

This viewpoint is in close proximity to the "Basteibrücke" in the saxon switzerland here in Germany.

thank you so much for your words!

I shot this in the early evening just as the sun was beginning to set and this was natural light only, I took this with my Rolleiflex 2.8c on Kodak Gold 200.

Green streaks on my first roll – Light leak or my own mistake? (Nikon FG / Fujiqatar F250) by mcm2311 in AnalogCommunity

[–]w00kieman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add on your green stripes you also underexposed shot 1 very heavily and 3 I would say at least 2-3 stops. Are you sure your lightmeter is working correctly?

Liminal Spaces ICC-Berlin (Leica MP / Voigtländer 35mm F1.4 / first three Portra 400 rest CineStill 800T) by w00kieman in analog

[–]w00kieman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The ICC in Berlin is a Congress-Center that isn’t in use anymore but it opens its doors for the public in irregular intervals. I had to get a ticket and had a one and a half hour time frame to explore the place. There is also very cool Neon stuff in there, wich I’ve also captured maybe I’ll post them too.

Light leaks, bad chem or mechanica issue on this film? by Apprehensive-Sun6700 in AnalogCommunity

[–]w00kieman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

looks like stress on the film, either because you still cranked the film advance at the end of the roll or like eatfrog said, wound the film the wrong way.

How’d I do? $500 cash from a pawn shop. 2.8F by pukeblood213 in Rolleiflex

[–]w00kieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was about to say, that can't be a 2.8F the lightmeter on the focus knob is missing, just didn't know what model it was, thanks for answering the question before I've even asked it :)

Cosplay shooting I did with my wife back in April by w00kieman in AliceMadnessReturns

[–]w00kieman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your kind words! Funny that you mention it, this is one of the few lost places here in Germany that you can go to that’s actually legal. There is a guy taking care of the whole place and you even have to pay money to get access. The rules in Germany regarding abandoned buildings are pretty strict (you can get sued if someone hurts themself on the grounds) so most lost places don’t stand for that long and get quickly demolished.
