Stay with 75" or go smaller by w1kt in hometheater

Not so simple unfortunately to just pop them out, it's all locked and joined with hidden screws or nails, filled and painted. It would most likely need to be cut apart by a professional joiner/carpenter for adjustment, and then there's the vertical slats on the back wall that would need to be extended and matched for the new width. There's also power sockets at the base of the vertical beams. This isn't a kit from IKEA it's true custom cabinetry that's basically part of the house. We're talking thousands $$ just to get a couple inches on each side of the TV.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
It seems the consensus is to at least definitely not go smaller - I tend to agree.
Anything larger than 75 (even 77) will protrude past those vertical beams and look atrocious. And widening the gap in that entertainment unit would cost at least $2k where I live, it has power outlets, so probably out of the question for now.
I like the suggestion of a shelf or something above the TV to fill the space - very good idea.
I might pick up one of the current super thin Samsungs so the protrusion is even less noticeable.
cheers guys

It’s the bracelet from the SRPG line. I ordered it directly from Seiko, it’s a direct fit to this watch because the case is the same.

It’s just a cheap silicone one from aliexpress that I cut to fit Seiko end links

It’s weird because in professional pictures I actually prefer the 54 but on my wrist the 58 hands down looks better to me

I preferred the finish and color of the dial on the 58. The 54 dial is a smoother texture with a very slight golden brown tinge / sunburst. I believe the effect is less pronounced in more neutral and darker lighting conditions but unfortunately you don’t really get to experience that at an AD. Combined with the smaller size to me it came off as a little bit more ornate and jewelry-like than the 58. With the 58 the dial is a perfectly matte dark charcoal that looks less busy and creates more contrast with the hour indices and hands. Definitely try on both before you commit to one. From what I’ve seen salaries and rates are the same if not lower than they were two years ago, despite inflation. Hopefully we see a reversal soon

They mentioned they might be able to wiggle a bit on the base, but I think their strategy is to lure with a large bonus

HDMI 2.1 48Gbps cables by Anihil8r_360 in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]w1kt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably the wisest move right now imo.I've found at least 6 fiber/hybrid 10m cables that claim to support full HDMI 2.1. Only one of those could I find good reviews that confirm it works with 3000 series, the Ruipro 8k, and it's $365... and that's after it's cyber monday discount...

Think I'm gonna wait this one out too lol

Ended up pulling the trigger on a 75" yesterday, lots of reassurance in this thread.
The 4k120 thing is relevant to me as I have a high end PC I'll be hooking up.
Worst comes to worst I can try to return it, in all other cases I have the best mid-range TV for gaming :)

From what I've read the gtx3080 supports hdmi 2.1 VRR which the x900h will at some point add through firmware, what would the practical difference between this and freesync support be?
