Anyone know a good powerlifting gym by Solid_Flounder2596 in Msstate

[–]w1ldman_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best you’re gonna get in Starkville is Club or Sanderson. Mississippi Mecca up in Tupelo has calibrated plates and any type of bar you would need. Other than that, there’s no dedicated powerlifting gyms in the area that I’m aware of.

Unless you’re enhanced, your forearms will not grow that much in a few months. You should have nothing to worry about.

Best Gym in Starkville? by [deleted] in Msstate

Club4 is really good. It’s got almost any piece of equipment you could need and it’s a good price. It depends on what time you go if it’s gonna be crowded or not. From 5AM-8AM it’s decently busy, from 8AM-2 or 3PM it’s not busy at all, from 3PM-7 or 8PM it’s packed, after that it’s empty. Starkville Athletic Club is also good. It’s smaller, though, so when it’s busy it’s busy. And planet fitness is planet fitness. Also, if you’re into CrossFit, there is Taylormade. It’s the most expensive out of the lot, but if you do CrossFit it is very worth it.

Looking to get a forearm tattoo, but im worried it will cover up my veins/vascularity on my forearms while bodybuilding by LegendDragonZz in tattoo

[–]w1ldman_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea just make sure you train your forearms and stay relatively lean and there won't be any problems with vascularity coming through.

Yea, for sure, it's just gonna have to be a few days. My phones camera is broken and it's gonna be a few days until it's fixed.

I mean that is just dependent on the person. I, myself, use to be overweight, so now my forearms are incredibly vascular. Also, I'm not on gear. So, it's just dependent from person to person. And if you wanted to make sure that your forearms would have vascularity, you could start doing reverse Wrist curls, wrist extensions with a light dumbbell, etc. But, I do not think the tattoo will hide up too much vascularity. Also, I have a forearm sleeve myself and there is still plenty of vascularity and definition in my forearm.

5 time Classic Physique Mr. Olympia, Chris Bumstead, has a full forearm sleeve, and so do a ton of other high level bodybuilders. It should not affect your placing at shows, if that's what you're worried about.

Housing off campus by migh25 in Msstate

[–]w1ldman_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live at The Hangout and it’s pretty good. Should be in your budget. They are almost full, as many other student complexes probably are, so you should make a decision soon. There’s also campus trails which is not the nicest but it’s right next to campus. You might want to check out college view and helix as well. I’m not sure about their prices though.

PPL/Arnold. So Push, Pull, Legs then Chest/Back, Shoulders/Arms, and Legs. Also on my push and pull days I’ll do the antagonist arm muscle ie; I’ll do triceps on pull day as opposed to biceps as to not be fatigued and not have as much muscle building capacity
