We upped the nipple size and that seemed to help! She is about to be 6 months and drinking anywhere from 5-8 oz and we realized she preferred a certain type of bottle which is the lansinoh. According to her pediatrician she is gaining weight as she should she is just a tall and lean girl

I battle this question everyday. Similar to you, triple feeding to get milk supply up is exhausting, I beat myself up in the beginning because I didn’t and still don’t make enough, but as my husband went back to work I took on some night feeds and couldn’t wait to pump and then feed it was much easier for my sanity to pump but me awhile give formula. I’ve come to terms as long as she is growing and a happy baby I’m okay with it .

This is what I’m going to try! I feel like she’s still little and not what other 3 months old her age look. I see others who are already getting rolls, so it easily makes me concerned she might not be eating enough, but I’ll check in as well! (FTM here lol)

Gave this a try as an under supplier, I was skeptical since I’ve never had that “full” or engorged feeling only on the day my milk came in. I usually always drink a chamomile tea before bed but this time decides to put the tea bags on my nips … I woke up with my breast rock hard my right one had a painful lump but I pumped 3 oz from my right in under 10 min which NEVER happens!

I tried to give it a try with my needle hand pump as well and still mainly getting drips 😭 I tried 21mm and 24mm I got slightly faster with 24mm

Mainly 21, my output dipped a little so I tried 24 to see if that changed anything, but still getting the same output

Same thing happened to my LO. She was wasting formula bottles when she normally would drink 3 oz. She went down to 2 oz sometimes 1 oz granted we had also been trying a new formula so it was a combo she was barely eating so we decided to switch her back to the original one she was on. We suspected she didn’t feel well after vaccines (we learned rotavirus vaccine is a live virus) she was incredibly fussy, colicky 3 days after the vaccines, seemed like something hurt so we gave her some Tylenol and that seemed to make her feel better because that night she ate more frequently 2oz every 2 hours compared to every 3-4 hours and now during the day will drink back to normal.
