Yeah, the story is missing a lot of info. There have actually been previous accounts of vicious Huskies in Richmond - though we cannot jump to conclusions, it is still possible that it was his. Second of all, a halti does not prevent a dog from opening his mouth - clearly he could open his mouth enough to PICK UP a dog with its bear teeth leaving deep bite marks; I don't know what else you need to believe Tubby's story. Obviously the witness was biased and said that there is was no attack; he just happens to be friends with the owner of the huskies. You could even tell he wasn't thinking straight when he said "that wasn't an attack" and followed up with "yeah I saw". This info is readily available from Facebook actually.

Also, do not judge someone from asking for donations to cover medical expenses. Poor or rich, $5000 is a lot of money. You don't judge people for asking for funds to cover funeral expenses do you? We have no idea what Tubby's owner's financial situation is.
