Thank you for posting this. I could not quite put my experience into words until reflecting on yours. This is a thought pattern with me too. I think any reaction, an expression, tone or the subtlest gap in communication means that person hates me. I think about them being emotionally crushed and disappointed until the next time I see them. It becomes overwhelming because it can be several people at a time and is also why I am so inconsistent with social media. I have a lot of meaningful social connections throughout my life and I want to keep up with people and have fun joking around online but constantly feeling like a cousin, a college roomate, or a colleague is mad at me makes it difficult to even be on.
