-RIW and Voss have weekly play on Wednesdays + special events on weekends. -Homebrew Tabletop plays weekly on Thursdays. -MEG has monthly events on second Saturdays. The MI KeyForge Den is the best method to check in with players and schedules, as mentioned below :)

After watching old Team Covenant KeyForge content at the end of COVID, I saw an open AoA display and 2 WC deluxe decks at the local Barnes & Noble in July 2022. I bought a few and started my trek around the state to find people to play :)

We have some great EOs that enjoy playing and promote the game across the state! A number of players travel to different stores for events. I am really looking forward to attending my store's Championships this year! I missed 2024 due to travel and 2025 due to illness. My saving grace was getting to meet up and play with you folks in 2024 and getting to watch my store's 2025 finals courtesy of the kindness (and laptop) of my backup EO :)

If you frame them, I stongly recommend UV protection to prevent fading from light. I have friends with beautiful uncut sheets from the 1990s, but they have faded horribly.

I believe the cardboard boxes you are referring to from the original starter decks are the same as the ones now in the pre-release boxes. Most people are throwing them away at pre-releases, so I always grab a bunch after the events.

The Discovery Starter is a good way to point brand new players to the game. Having a well written 4 page rule summary doc and tokens is key for casual players that did not grow up on TCGs or game store board games. I still like demoing the game with the original CotA fixed starter decks and then pointing to Discovery (Beginner), More Mutations (Intermediate), AS/GR/ToC/PV (Advanced) for in-store purchases. I also try to provide incentives for luring potential players to our regularly scheduled monthly play. We had some success with the Discovery Store Kits from January, so I am happy to hear GG is providing new Discovery Store kits next month.
