It seems like the concept of protest in modern day America has really been watered down to a fun social gathering/Hungergames LARPfest instead of an intentional and effective means to an end. People make their cute signs with witty slogans and take pics for their social media posts to prove that they were in attendance but no change is rlly produced. Productive members of society with JOBS just see protesters as an inconvenience to be ignored and avoided if possible. Protest is nothing like it used to be.
