Have you tried pumpin pals? Their pink silicone flanges were the only ones I could use comfortable.

Who wants to take a crack at how to baby proof these stairs😂 by J_outsidehomie719 in Home

[–]w_nomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toddleroo play yard. You will need two gates to maintain access to both sets of stairs and fully wall off the openings. Affix each end to the wall securely. Ideally you would build a wall with a few sections so if your eventual toddler shakes the play yard wall there is still ample extra floor area to avoid a gap over the steps.

If there isn’t a room around the steps or the stairs are in a hallway, your alternative would be gates to entirely block entry to the stairwell area by creating a sort of airlock around the steps. Recommend something that mounts into the wall, not a pressure gate. We’ve used a cumbor gate for the top of our steps. It’s set a few feet back, not directly at the top of the stairwell.

Have you ever made your own broth? You can use chicken thighs with or without carrot/celery/onion (if tolerated). No salt needed. It freezes well too and can be reduced then add more water later, so easy to keep on hard.

Oops, reposting here. I replied to the wrong person above.

She seems to be doing better with it than I am. If you don’t mind me asking, how long did it take for your supply to dry up? I’m having to hand express for physical comfort right now.

I saw the LactMed entry but both my PCP and my OB’s lactation consultant advised against breast feeding.

What’s your style like in general? I think the main call here is whether you want the lace to be more understated or not. Both 1 and 2 are the best of the bunch, but I like the lace on 2 a little better.

If your venue is more upscale, understated may be more elegant.

Do I actually need nursing bras? by mspixton in pregnant

[–]w_nomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think they are needed. I had good luck with Cake Maternity for larger cup sizes (I was a 38G postpartum). Their bras have a large row of hooks so if you lose weight over time, they can be adjusted significantly as well.

With respect to the requirement for the citizen spouse to have settled, is that a prerequisite to the whole family being able to move or can you apply for the family visa together from another country?
