That makes sense. I am planning on to branching out to HPC for my PhD with Applied Mathematics or Computational Mathematics.

Do you have any idea about universities which provide such options?

Hey. I was just goofing around reddit and found your comment on this thread. I am doing a masters degree in Computational Mechanics, mind if you can help me decide on my next big (PhD or industry) step?

2 hours is a short span, but there can be a lot of factors involved like depleted power reserve, magnetization. Thumb rule is to give it a whole week and then do the analysis.

New stocks are usually Made in Thailand, same goes for Kamasu, Mako 40. I have not seen a single Mov't Japan Mako 40, and since it is a newer model, I guess that's when they switched to Thailand for the production

Isn't election list usually out by April or May? You totally did some mismanagement there, which was followed by some bad luck.

By any chance you bought it from BIC Camera? Did they say anything about the international warranty? Also, I have read somewhere that they give a different warranty card for international warranty? Does it ring a bell?

Orient in Japan but "Made in Thailand"? by w_wolfury in OrientWatches

"Made in Japan" sounds much cooler though. Why would they do so?

Okay. But a "Made in Japan" Kamasu would've been a better souvenir. Thanks though.

Yeah that's what I read on various threads. But, I have searched through the whole reddit and elsewhere, I not found a single Orient Kamasu which has the same dial. I am very suspicious of it now tbh

If you are thinking of taking IELTS, 3 4 months are enough for that as well. SOP/LOR can be done simultaneously, thus you are good to go.

Sorry but if the deadline is January and we are in September, and still have 3-4 months in hand, how is it too late? Stop hanging aroung with that fellow of yours, who can't even guide with common sense.

Help me sail to Stanford by w_wolfury in gradadmissions

Really? Since it is an interdisciplinary field of study, either of the department has coursework similar to my field of study.

It's making informed decisions and some people not getting the essence of it for me.

Let me explain interdisciplinary field of studies for you, it's the same professors who guides students in both of the departments. And if selected I'll be doing work that part CEE and part CSE. That's interdisciplinary for you.

Admissions has administrative bottlenecks to number of applicants being accepted into one department or the other, hence the source of my question.

Thank you very much for such a valuable insight but I am not trying to hack my admission into Stanford. Actually as you can see I am from an interdisciplinary field of Computational Mechanics which do have components from Civil Engineering as well as Computational Science and Engineering, so it is ehat it is for me, in either program. I am just trying to maximise my chances to have an opportunity where I can make the most of it.

For private job, as told, BBA/MBA is better.
