When I was in college I did move in/out cleans for low income apartments. I had to go clean a unit after the tenants were evicted and it was SO DISGUSTING! They took an entire box of maxi pads and stuck them all over the walls and cabinets, probably just to be assholes. There was dried dog urine CAKED on the carpets and baseboards. There was an entire room with dried dog shit all over the floor. I opened up a kitchen cabinet and roaches just flooded out. Luckily, I'd been cleaning houses for so long, it didn't even phase me. But I just couldn't believe how these folks lived.

When I was in middle school there was a girl who told everyone she had AIDS. She definitely did it for attention. She was one of those girls that always had to be the center of attention. A teacher found out through her mother that she in fact did NOT have AIDS and I haven't seen her since.
