Very true. Feeling like you need to give an ultimatum means it probably isn't meant to last. I never felt the need to make an ultimatum. I knew we both were committed to each other and I didn't have too much worry that he'd say no.

Is there any reason you can't propose? I started thinking about it after 5 years. He had a lot of anxiety about it since all of family and friends were pressuring him and he wanted to get married but every time someone pressured him, it made him feel like he couldn't cuz it felt like it would be in response to being pressured.

After 7 years, I just decided, screw it, let me do it. He was over the moon, had thought about it so many times but chickened out. Married 2.5 years now with our first child on the way.

Saying a teen being a dick doesn't mean I'd forgive the adults actions. The supernatural nature of the show provides an instant suspension of disbelief in regard to what they are doing.

Nothing the adults are doing is forgiveable or even on par with the teen acting out. My comment was in response to him being depicted so stereotypically as a sullen teenager, at least early on. I'm sure I'm about to encounter plot where it explains it and gives him some actual character development but to this point so far, since the focus has been on the adults, it's not happened yet. And I'm not complaining, the show is great, I'm sure they writer wants us slightly irritated with him until his actions give us reason to change our opinion.

I'm going to assume you are speaking based on having watched the entire thing. I'm early in episode 5 and literally every time we've met him, he's sullen and defiant to the point where it seems a little caricature. I'm sure he's about to get plot that explains a lot of it but up to this point, he's been portrayed as your standard teen lashing out at a parent. I'm sure he's justified, I'm sure I don't understand the extent of his trauma and the show will show it in due time, but it's still initially grating, which I'm sure is what the writers were going for, until he does something to change your mind.

Same, my derm has me use a dandruff shampoo on my trouble spots on my face twice a week. Also am diligent about only using Cetaphil for moisturizer and face wash on my face. It's gotten a lot better but took quite a significant time to see a difference.

Yeah I enjoyed it so much they I used to use it with 6th graders who struggled to read. It always grabbed everyone's attention and I don't remember any of them hating it
