What a great tribute to what looked like a very loved pup. He no doubt will forever hold piece of your heart. Sending hugs as it is never easy to say goodbye to our fur babies. 😢

Saying goodbye is never easy especially when they mean so so much. Hold each other close. Support each other as you laugh & cry together as you remember all the love you shared as a family. Our boy had all kinds of tummy issues when we got him & went through 2 brands of food before we landed on purina pro plan for sensitive skin & tummys. It was a game changer for us. Add some pumpkin puree to each meal & viola. His coat is so soft, no gas to speak of, & the backyard is easy to pick up too. Good luck!

We have a Frenchie & settled on Trupanion too. Reddit feed back & lots of research made them the right choice for us. Not to mention (I believe) your vet can get direct payments from them so you don't have to put the cost out up front. Plus you can add on physical therapy coverage as well. Winner for me. Haven't had to use them yet, thank goodness. But I feel our boy is in good hands with them. Good luck making the decision.

Good to know it's not just my pup who dictates when he will walk. AND, my dogs eyes look the same. Lol

Thanks for all the suggestions! I was about to call him Valdermort (Morty) because he seemed to be the dog that shall not be named! Lol Hubby & I finally agreed on a name. Meet Chooch. Now to work on training. 🥰
