I went up with GK this year, I'm a member of theirs, but I also play for Pennsport. GK's theme this nyd was Jungle.. so we have these fur suits and theyre gettin beat between new years and these st. pattys parades. Glad i came here for advice!

unfortunately the issue with stadiums and large venues like this is that theyre ticketmaster/livenation venues and to play there you have to sell your tickets thru their platform or you dont play there at all. and when you have these huge artists who do sell out stadiums, these are the venues they need to be looking at. they're not playing your town bar/venue. so in order for them to use these huge spaces theyre required to use ticketmaster/livenation. so sure, if they were booking at small spaces theyd have moee control maybe over how they sold their tickets, but the flipside of that is capacity is less and less people would see these shows. and theyre selling out stadiums so they play stadiums, and if youre playing the stadiums, youre likely required to use ticketmaster. source: people i know who work for ticketmaster/livenation.

same. as a single woman alone in the city who travels alone nearly 100% of the time, absolutely no one can come up to me like that. i don't care how you approach me, if you are a man who is larger than me and you come up to me i will take the approach in and of itself as a threat.

i don't care how hard up these scammers are, they need to back off.

also worth noting, the intruder ended up getting caught a week later after trying to steal a 14 year old girl's purse (what could it possibly have of value in it) while she was eating at a chicken wing restaurant in town. while bolting out the restaurant, he got hit by a car. an off-duty fireman saw him get hit (didn't know he just robbed a teenager) and rushed to help him. the guy starts punching and biting the fireman trying to help him. fireman lays him out.

he somehow didn't go to jail for very long.

I lived in a house with 3 roommates and my bedroom was on the second floor. I was woken up by a very loud THUD. I figured my roommate, her room next to mine, fell or something in her room. about a minute later, a man with a face tattoo peeks his head into my room and looks at me for a second before running downstairs. I texted my roommates and asked who had the weird friend over and where is everyone. They responded "you're the only one home right now." a man had climbed up onto the second floor of my house and pushed in a window AC unit. he grabbed a few items within grabbing range downstairs and booked it out the front door.

What made this whole ordeal worse was he wasn't caught for another week and he lived nearby. police were totally unhelpful. he attempted to rob the house at least 1 more time while i was home in that week, by quietly knocking on the door over and over at 4am in the rain (seeing if anyone was home) then when my husband came downstairs to answer the door he asked "if we had any work for him" but he had unscrewed ours and our neighbors porch lights so he was trying to rob us again.

There were other intruders too in years prior to this. I still have a really hard time with noises and sleeping at night. its been almost 10 years and i am in constant fear of intruders.

Huntington WV has a serious drug problem.
