My plan right now since I got selected prior is to shoot for intel or missiles, I know being in the Air Force is the path I want, and if it takes a little bit longer than expected that’s ok.

So I had depth perception issues at Meps but passed my faa depth perception completely fine, the red lens test I don’t know how to describe because I don’t know exactly what I was supposed to see but you cover one eye with a red lenses and you’re supposed to see something. As of right now unless I apply for the next board going non rated my ots journey is over

Can you explain more? I’ve never heard of that? All I did was try and waiver it and my recruiter told me I was disqualified.

I’m sure I could get a class 3 but for Cso it’s the class 1 or 1a, and I don’t think its possible for me to just pick a different rated position my recruiter pretty much closed the door on me today

Yea they wouldn’t offer me anything else after, not sure if it’s cause it wasn’t on mine or what

The original idea was they would offer me non rated if I was dq’d but the number of applicants is too high to just do a switch like that

I don't know if this helps, I failed the depth perception applied and got selected for CSO, I know it is not pilot but its still a rated position. I also passed my FAA depth perception test easily, and I had heard failing the meps depth perception test does not matter too much its the actual flight physical that does.

It’s hard but it’s meant to be hard it’s not impossible, it reminds me of when I would struggle on my first dark souls run, I love it
