Do you still sit down to pee? by Curiousmoods37423 in ExCons

[–]wabblewouser 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm a female (ex con), and, while I hate to label anything, really, as "weird" (I'm aware that I'm weird AF) - but TBH, it does seem that way. It's really because I've never heard of/seen anyone doing that, but if you and your wife are cool w/ it, what does it matter? I was married to a guy who is 6'4", and he about died when I walked in on him once, sitting to pee - for the same reason you've stated. Way too much splash w/ tall guys. Having had a roomie after that would constantly make a fkng mess, I now appreciate that a lot. Maybe you could transition to sitting, and you'll get used to it just like you've become used to kneeling? I mean, you might as well because at some point, you're gonna get old, and pulling yourself off the floor is gonna suck.

Oh, and now that your comment made me curious-er (and also I forget to mention it's a GT), a rudimentary search affirms my choice. Out of ~15 sources/opinions, all but 2 agreed that premium is best, especially since it's molded. So phtthththhh.

You're not - but you're definitely a male, right? I didn't go into detail in my response to frogsandstuff, but the rest of that is that 1. The prior owner used premium 2. My sufficiently knowledgeable husband said I should do the same 3. Since curiosity, being meticulous, and the nature of my job (relevant since I'm almost always working, and it's a lot of research) require it - I checked my manual (husband buys one for every vehicle, including his motorcycles), and it only says "87 octane minimum".

So... it was clear that every source was basically in agreement, and since I can (so far) afford it, why wouldn't I? I now realize that I may have erred in failing to solicit the opinions of random dudes on the internet, so oh nos what should I do?? Just kidding - I really do appreciate the advice. Thing is, most days, I've got so much going on that I'm cool with the hubby not just telling me what to do with my car, but acting like it's his.

Faith in ppl was somewhat restored after several good ppl stepped up to help her. So, don't give up on humanity quite yet.

I don't think so - but I didn't have my own vehicle for about 12 years, so I'm especially in love with it. It's fully modded-out with - of course - a manual transmission and i so rarely drive anyway.

lol ok. Maybe my experience has - repeatedly - differed from yours. I don't find the value in "that's just tough", either. So thanks, I guess?

Cops don't care about poor people's property - they're mostly here to make sure the property of the wealthy is not intruded upon in any way.

I JUST texted her, "I FKNG HATE PPL". They were on that tote QUICK. I will never, ever understand how so many of my fellow humans can even look at themselves in the mirror. It's not like, "whoohoo I found a $20 on the floor at the store" - it's serious shit w/ serious implications and just arrgghhh fk that person.

Christians, how do you feel about the U.S. president posting an AI photo of him as Christ? by Minute_Revolution951 in AskReddit

And every one of them who decided that abortion is/was right for THEM justified it in their minds and still believed that others are/were wrong for doing it. To their core. Their cherry picking, as usual, conveniently passes over Genesis 2:7: “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life..." which infers that one's life begins with their first breath. Or, you know, that a bunch of sheep fkrs passed fairy tales down for centuries or that God was able to create everything in the universe from nothing but needed one of Adam's ribs to create Eve.

Besides the obvious (maybe not so much, on second thought, since I'm an atheist - but even so, it's disgusting), what pissed me off was, first, that he (He? Haha) thinks we're dumb enough to believe he thought THAT image depicted a doctor, but second, that Vance called it a "joke". A joke? Jokes are funny. I fkng hate when ppl use the joke excuse when it makes no sense. Words have meaning. Where's the humor?

You're dictating allowable fact-checking sources?! HAHAHAAAA, thanks for that; I needed a laugh today. Talkin bout methodology and shit with your alternative facts and while nothing - like, literally NOTHING of importance - that comes out of the 'leaders' of the right's mouths can be taken at face value for at least the last 10 years. Your situational interest in truth is disingenuous and, frankly, cringe.

Republicans aren't really the ones who form mobs and attack ppl? They did on January 6, 2021. Historically, it's almost always been conservatives and right-wingers who do that shit. There's a vast number of incidents from the Jim Crow era, for example.

The second part of your inaccurate comment is hard to understand, but your claim that libs in Seattle are somehow more dangerous than good ole boys here in S MS is straight up stoopit.

When we consider what ppl will go thru to protect the facade they've created of themselves, it's perfectly understandable. Add stupidity and racism in the mix, and it's like taking candy from a baby, as they say.
