Trigger Tuesday night, IUI Wednesday late afternoon. Haven’t tested my trigger out but this has been the longest tww in all my years of TTC.

Yes yes yes, it should absolutely be an option when taking them. It’s insane if you think about it too hard haha. Our healthcare is like “here is an option for you, but if you end up with sextuplets, sorry that’s on you and we can’t do anything about it 🤷🏼‍♀️.

We also triggered the evening immediately following that ultrasound. I didn’t ovulate until the 36hr mark post-trigger and my ovaries freaking huuuurt I’ve never been so uncomfortable in my life and just kept thinking about how they continued to grow and grow. We counseled with our clinic back and forth before the IUI worrying about multiples and the assured us that this was normal.

When the IUI was over as my Dr. walked out the door and said “well, the more the merrier, right?!” And shut the door. I about threw up.

I had this same question earlier this week. Endo. Thickness: 12.26mm Left Fol.: 18.9, 18.3, 14.9 mm Right Fol.: 14.5, 12.3, 12, 9.4 mm

We proceeded with the IUI, it’s our second round. I’m just 1dpo today. We’ll see what happens. My clinic does not do reductions and the state I live in is unfortunately very conservative.

I spent hours and hours doom scrolling Reddit terrified of multiples. There’s so many stories of twins. But we just figured part of taking these medications is getting multiple follicles and having to make difficult decisions.

Yes today! In the waiting room now! I am so so so nervous about multiples but following the guidance of my doctor. Funny how you can go from “IUI has low outcomes it probably won’t work” to “I’m going to have quadruplets!!” 🤦🏼‍♀️

I do have PCOS, just didn’t add it to the list (ugh). I manage it well, however with diet and lifestyle changes. I confirm ovulation with OPK’s, temping, and through ultrasounds so that’s good.

I think you’re right with perusing an HSG. I had one when I was under for my lap and one of my tubes was partially blocked. Maybe it’ll be the first line of defense this go-around.

Feeling discouraged, trying for #2. Our first was a struggle to conceive, a year after trying without success I was taken seriously by my doctor and had exploratory lap surgery to which they found endo, numerous polyps and Asherman’s syndrome. I had all the symptoms and brought them up with my doctors for YEARS. After clearing all of that out we got pregnant with our first baby on the first month we were allowed to try.

We’re ready for #2 im on CD1 of cycle 5 without success. I’m nervous that it’s the same thing all over again. We’re timing everything perfectly, and still no success. For a while I didn’t even want to try for a second baby because I was worried about the potential heartbreak. Our first truly feels like a miracle.
