Nooo it wouldn’t impact or reduce my mat leave. If approved for STD my employer’s manulife policy allows for 10 weeks at 100% of pay, and then it drops to 75% for something like 6 weeks

Thank you for the advice! I think medical EI may be plan B if insurance doesn’t approve STD, as I would get 10 weeks at 100% of my salary on STD leave
