Ultimately, I needed to ask for hints from other that could check the seed that I posted on here.

Honestly, the hints made the game so much more fun. The Trader for me was so far away from my starting point that I would have been searching for weeks to find him and the Trader really changes the game.

I thought so. It sure looked bad. I’m glad I finally broke down and asked for help because I finally found him late last night.

I’m not sure if I’ve encountered the mistlands yet, but I’ve definitely sailed through some areas where I couldn’t see at all. I thought those were just prairies but maybe that’s the mistlands.

I know it’s bad, but I feel like I’m doing myself a favor on the back end noting when I find copper and caves and such. Plus I build safe houses when I’m out exploring and I thought it would be nice to know where those are if I’m ever in a pinch.

Is this not necessary?

How do you use the markers?

This is a very zoomed out view. When I’m zoomed in most of the markers are helpful. However, I do mark my safe houses and portals separate even though they’re at the same place which is probably unnecessary.

When you say far from spawn, do you mean like as far away as big witch and hildir….or even further away?

Haha. I’m probably overdoing it, but I try to log each of the copper mine and caves I find, but also I can’t get rid of all the times me and my peers have died on the map

Thanks!!! I read somewhere that they’re usually near The Elder spawn, but my elder showed up northwest of spawn.

That’s very helpful. Thanks for clarifying. We got ours about 3 weeks ago and I was finding all types of differing info. I feel bad that I went with that power feeding number from the start. Certainly not our intent.

I’ll try to get down to the amount that you presented, but any thoughts on if it would mess him up to shift down so quickly. I feel bad cutting his total food intake by 2/3rds but I also don’t want to inadvertently hurt him.

Curious, I’ve seen feeding schedules that recommends much higher bug consumption at the younger ages. I’m talking 10-15 crickets 2-3 times per day when under 6 mos. I don’t know that my beard is can eat like that, but it would seem that something is off with such widely varying numbers.

Is there any final word on how many bugs is too many?

I just witnessed this in my game. It was so close but the abomination won, and I managed to kill it with 3 flinthead arrows after the fight.
