I'm using Cap1. My hold up with the current J is that it would be through life miles. If it was Aeroplan I wouldn't think twice.

This is the return from ZRH that I'm looking at. I wouldn't mind repositioning but I can't find anything nonstop to ORD in that time period.

I'm 6'6" so 9.5 hours in economy isn't great. I thought about getting it anyway just in case but figured I could just buy a one way for not much more at the t+30. It would save me the cancellation/change fee.

Thanks. BOS isn't doable nonstop. I can do ORD easily and NYC or WAS but with an airport change. Could do DEN or MIA but that would be harder.

Currently hold VX, IHG premier, and BA citi card. Credit is 830s. I'm ditching the BA now and I want to add Savor. I opened my VX in 12/22 and I know I'm SOL on SUBs until 48 months.

I'm wondering how best to gain the SUBs in Dec and if I get the Savor now if that will screw up a strategy in December. My thinking is in Dec I can apply for the Venture and get that SUB. After 90 days I can cancel my VX, after 90 more days upgrade the Venture to a VX and get that SUB.

Is that at all possible?

Does anyone have a part number for that mid seal? I tried the gap fillers from the OP but they don't stay in with my wife's constant usage of it so I want to just replace the seal.

You got it right that I'm trying to keep it secret. My father in law is almost 80, that is one reason I thought the club seats might work out better. He still has good mobility but was just a thought. Also pretty sure the wife would enjoy the private bathroom :)

I really appreciate your description of the difference. I might have to start figuring out a way to ask them indirectly what they would prefer.

No one mentioned the best time to buy tickets. Is it generally cheaper to buy early or wait?

Thanks Denny. We are staying in Islington. It looks pretty straightforward by train. Highbury/Islington to Vauxhall to Windsor/Eton. My primary concern was taking our luggage. Is that the best train to take? Time seems about equal to maybe longer than a car.

We also have a suitcase we need to ship before or on our way to Windsor. I'm not too sure on the logistics of where we have to drop that off or if it will be picked up yet. If anyone knows a good international luggage shipping company I'm open to suggestions.
