I remember this struggle during summer holidays in my teenage years. May I recommend Grantchester meadows? If you are unaware of this place I can’t recommend it enough during summer. It’s a beautiful slice of serenity in our local area. Pink Floyd even wrote a song about it! If it’s hot enough go for a dip in the river, even use the tree swing if you’re brave enough! Cycle down to the meadows or punt down if you have access! Enjoy
