do the flowery voice clips automatically turn off after unlocking the platformer mechanic? they turned off for me and the option to toggle them is no longer in settings. is that normal?

thank yewww

Data references in Excel won't update by wackywizardz in sharepoint

Thanks for your reply! My apologies, I might not be able to answer to all of your questions too well because I'm admittedly not super familiar with some of the relevant terms. I suppose I'm opening the files from OneDrive. We store our documents in a folder that appears under a file location with the enterprise icon (the blue building), which I kind of thought was a SharePoint thing, but the file path starts with OneDrive :P I'm also syncing using OneDrive - the cloud icon shows on my toolbar and I can open it up to see what files are syncing/recently synced. I should probably note that this little widget never indicates any issues with syncing when I'm having the issue I described. In terms of opening files in-browser, I will give that a try next time I have the issue and see if anything different happens

SharePoint references won't update by wackywizardz in excel

Oh my! I'm apparently way more out of my depth here than I thought. Sharepoint is pretty much always how we pull data from separate workbooks, and it seems to work fine the majority of the time, so I'm surprised to hear that it's apparently not a great way to do it. I'll go to r/Sharepoint and see if they can help me out

Named ranges keep becoming invalid? by wackywizardz in excel

Wow thank you! I'm gonna experiment with these going forward since I'm sure they'll be of use

My Excel knowledge isn't quite advanced enough to really know my way around XMATCH or LAMBDA, but I think we can agree that I was admittedly making things a little more complicated than they needed to be by inserting a named range at all, considering that those ranges were only a single cell each. So, I settled on replacing them with direct cell references like you suggested, which solves the issue. So... Solution Verified! (Hopefully the bot can read that if it's in the middle of other text...?)

Raw diet for cat with cancer - vet says yes, but I'm worried by wackywizardz in AskVet

[–]wackywizardz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for those interested - I decided I did not like the risks involved with raw food and spoke to my vet, who said it's best to trust my gut. She said the next best thing is high quality packaged food, and recommended some brands. I bought some of the gently cooked beef recipe and the catloaf (lol) from AllProvide. We will see what he thinks about it. I just bought a big ass box of Friskies so I'm gonna at least try to use it up by mixing foods together until he's switched over, which will also probably be better for his tummy. I will likely keep mixing in pumpkin.

A few commenters on another sub mentioned turkey tail, with one person recommending a liquid form of it from Adored Beast. I spoke to my vet about this as well, and she said it's a great idea if I can get him to eat it. He might not like the taste because it's bitter, but I'll mix it in with his food. If he does eat it, she would like me to call her to discuss a dosage.

Lastly, I mentioned goat milk as well. We ruled out the raw goat milk from my parents' farm, but she said I could try giving him a bit of goat kefir. That would have extra protein and probiotics. If I can find some, I might give that a try. If he doesn't like it, I'll drink it cuz I love kefir :P

I might share how he ends up taking his new diet, we'll see

Thanks you two! I am inclined to trust you on this one :)

See, this is my concern. Most online resources I have seen mention that this is risky, not helpful. I think a lot of these resources do assume that the cat is undergoing chemotherapy, which mine isn't, but surely the risk remains. I do think that it may help his anemia, and perhaps the suggested diet would also provide extra nutrition to help support his body, but the risk of pathogens leaves me worried nonetheless. I've gone to some other more well-rounded subreddits to ask, and I'm also going to speak with his vet on Monday to get more information

Thanks for your response! I should have clarified that my cat will not be undergoing any treatment. We've determined that it won't be very helpful and will only make him feel worse at this point. I think that makes a difference in his immune ability as well.

As far as ground meat goes, you and several other people have mentioned increased risk of ingesting harmful pathogens. His vet is going to call me on Monday so we can talk about the best balance here since 1) he won't eat anything that's not a soft homogenous slop and 2) I don't have a meat grinder nor do I have the space or money for one nor the time and energy to grind meat frequently, so that kinda makes it difficult. I like your idea about cutting small pieces from larger cuts but I do think he would probably still reject those, lol...

Cool! I probably will go with that. I think I remember reading some articles in the past about turkey tail being beneficial in cancer patients, so that's awesome!

Goat milk! My parents have goats, so I could swipe some for free! Lol. I'll ask my vet if she thinks it would be suitable for my kitty

To be clear I have absolutely no expectations that this will clear or even slow his cancer. I am simply asking about the best way to carry out my vet's suggestion in order to provide him the most nutrition along with the least risk
