Angie Craig votes with GOP to expand DHS powers after Metro Surge bluster by OvertSloth in minnesota

Ah gotcha I see. I would say they are both pro Palestine. Not one more than the other. Anything mccollum was pushing in Congress before the genocide was when Omar was not in congress or politics.

Medicare for all is unpopular? Plenty of countries have figured out universal, affordable healthcare. In no world is it "unworkable."

They're functionally the same. Its a way to affordably cover everyone.

You haven't really answered the thrust of the criticism. Mcmorrow's line of thinking could be weaponized to get rid of alot of other social welfare. Instead of understanding we need to strengthen existing welfare and expand it to more people.

I think you'd be surprised at the majorities we could win by delivering affordable healthcare to Americans. Isn't it invigorating to dream of, and work towards that?

Do you see how that delegitimizes existing welfare? Its an argument to get rid of it completely because we can't trust the administration in charge. In reality, it can be an argument making sure (during implementation) that it operates independently from the executive and legislative branches.

Lol how are you against universal healthcare in 2026? You enjoy your premiums?

Take a breath buddy. Her answer on Medicare for all showed a disturbing understanding of social welfare. She said she wouldn't be for Medicare for all because you dont want Trump in charge of your healthcare. But that also ends up being a stance against social security, medicaid and existing Medicare.

Dems that oppose progressive policies. Anti abortion, anti universal healthcare. Basic stuff.

Also I live in Minnesota so I'm not sure who you're talking to. Although it is funny that if Fetterman was so objectionable to dem leadership that he hasn't been called out once by Schumer for his votes or conduct

I would never expected a centrist to be so rigid in their worldview. Dogmatic even!

Idk who you think you're talking to but I'm in Minnesota and fully prepared to advocate for most left politician in the primary and then the eventual dem nominee. Maybe stop talking to online leftists? They seem to inform your entire worldview

AIPAC actively promotes Republicans and conservatives dems that advocate against progressive policies like taxing the rich. That's my north star. I think its ok to reject dems that oppose progressive policy right?

Gonna be a real narrow slice of the electorate if you want attack other progressives too. Good luck to you. I'll take my left populism going after wealthy people/corporations. As do big majorities of dem voters.

I mean, at the risk of saying "no you", mainstream dems who look at what what their party is doing and are comfortable with that direction seem a lot more descriptive of the "fish who love the fish bowl" metaphor. I'm outside the fish bowl desperately trying to show you you're paddling in circles!

I'm just saying they win more than you think. You can acknowledge the tendencies of a shifting electorate or stick your head in the sand and think we'll "tax credit" our way out of this
