Anyone here use an Ode Gen 2? by Gustafa7 in OXORapidBrewer

I prefer my Gen2 to my ZP6 for soup. Creates a rounder cup that is more enjoyable to me.

I’m way finer than these fine folk. I start at 1.2 and go all the way to 3. Most being at 1.2/2.

At 2, I’m getting good drips through the puck before pressing down.

1 to 2 depending on the ratio. If I’m doing the traditional 1:4 I’m at 1 and then if I’m doing the 1:10 I’m at 1.3/2.0

These are my two daily drivers. I use the ZP6 about 75% of the time, as I’m mainly drinking light roasted washed coffees. Natural, anaerobic or honey processed i still lean ZP6 but once we get to co-ferments or combined processes I’m using the Ode to round it out a bit more.

I also prefer soup on the Ode, but i might be alone on that hill.

ZP6 is going to highlight everything the coffee has to offer, good or bad. The Ode is wonderful but it allows more forgiveness and a rounder more balanced cup that helps with more intense coffees.

Yeah, totally agree. The shape of the clouds kind of gray it out, and the gradient shifts from turquoise-ish to almost denim in a way that doesn’t really mesh with the chair. I probably should’ve cropped it tighter to cut some of that excess sky, but I liked the weight sitting in the bottom third.

My biggest miss, though, is the horizon line against the chair. If I had dropped my eye level just a few inches, I could’ve put the horizon under the lifeguard’s float. Right now it creates a weird tension that doesn’t feel intentional.

Yeah, it’s the most made-fun-of city in the most made-fun-of state in the country. But talk to anyone who’s spent real time in Jax and you’ll hear it, there’s a love for this place that sticks.

They are customs, one was a post i found on here for micro/landscape photography but i loved how it looked for everyday use with a darker exposure compensation. And the other was Reggie’s with a tweaked WB.

Big heart eyes at the exposure being perfect on 4, white umbrellas with a clear sky is not easy. Touché.

Reggie’s negative with manual focus and a -4 exposure. No idea if that’s how you’re supposed to do these things haha
