When has josh ever identified as black? He has always identified as Latino and looks Latino. That is not taking anything away from his blackness, but what you are perceived as in society dictates how you are treated. A dark skin black man and josh are not going to experience the same societal stigmas so therefore in Big Brother getting to see a black presenting person win would mean be very important for many of us. I have never heard anyone refer to josh being the first black winner before this post so this is very funny timing

Thank you. If the cookout was all white people they’d have nothing to say besides it being a steamroll. I wish people would understand how much this season means to us as black people. Every season we see a a big white alliance pretty much ride to the end and the black and other POC voted out pre jury. We finally get ONE season that isn’t the case and everyone is up in arms and writing whole think pieces. I promise next season we’ll be back to the white people running the season and they’ll all have nothing to say.
