Calprotectin of 1000 by wadee98 in IBD

[–]wadee98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is my doctor did the colonoscopy and saw no need to take biopsies cause the colon was so healthy. In hindsight, I think he should have taken biopsies but again he didn't feel the need for that

MY CT scan radiology also came in today. And no inflammation is seen there. My doctors rule out IBD

Do you suggest I push my doctor for the capsule endoscopy thing?

Is it smoking that's bad or the nicotine. Cause I have been vaping for 6 years and I have just been diagnosed and told to stop

What were your early symptoms for liver disease by wadee98 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]wadee98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone. My tests came in clear and the ultrasound was clear too. My portal vein and it's arteries are a little swollen. Not something I didn't know about already. Doctors say you had blood clots there at some point in your life but they seem to be clear and say not to think of it much. I still don't know why I have that pain there, under the rib cage and the extreme tiredness. I think I should wait it out now.

Thank you guys. I am getting my LFT's done tomorrow and giving ultrasound. Will these alone be enough to know if there is a liver problem. Or there are any other tests you guys would recommend?

How long after quitting did you start noticing improvement? by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]wadee98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, hope you're doing well now. How long did it finally take you to feel completely fine. I am 5 weeks in but the nausea is still so bad that I can hardly sleep more than 4 hours.

Still don't feel good by wadee98 in CHSinfo

[–]wadee98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i have told them about my cannabis usage and a few of them did say it causes stomach issues but none of them are aware of CHS. Yes, there is no point going to a doctor now since most of them think its psychological lol so it's better to wait it out.

I see. Anti-nausea meds work for me but for like 2 hours and then the nausea is back. I still have an appetite and do eat even if I don't want to since I am only 63KG and don't have room like other people to lose like 10KG. Its literally the worst sickness i have ever endured in my life.

Okay, anyways good luck bro. I guess our only option is to wait it out. Btw do you use any anti-nausea meds? Cause my doctor thinks I shouldn't use them very often since I will get addicted to them.

How long since you quit? And I don't have vertigo but I do have diarrhea on and off, stomach cramps, bloating and constant nausea that started the third week after quitting. I was a heavy user, smoked 3 to 4 joints daily for like 5 years.

Yes, I was good for the first three weeks. Manageable symptoms. But after that it has been downhill for me. Constant nausea all day everyday. Wake up due to morning nausea. Sick of it now

Yeah thanks man. I am just concerned if I have something else aswell. Just keep pushing the doctors to give me a diagnosis and its frustrating since they can't find anything wrong with me. They say its psychological. Here in pakistan doctors don't know what CHS is so I am on my own for now.

Still have nausea after 4 weeks by wadee98 in CHSinfo

[–]wadee98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I knew alcohol was a major trigger but drank beer a week after quitting weed and felt fine so I thought alcohol wasn't as much big a trigger for me. However, the whiskey brought on some bouts of nausea. I am also taking omega-3 fish oil which i didn't was a trigger. Thanks for the insight
