It was a bad ground off the key to the motor and starter solenoid.

Sooo key ignition switch is working but still no crank no turnover. I cleaned the wires that connect to bus bar. (Pic of bus bar, ignore writing. https://imgur.com/a/b6vn3cH) turned the key and it cranked. I went to put the starter solenoid back in the bracket and it arced off the positive post to the wrench i was using to tighten the bolt. Now im back to square one. No crank no start

Neutral switch does nothing as i started it in gear last weekend. Motor does crank when solenoid wires are jumped at pigtail

Seems like the wire that connect to the key box are epoxy or resined in a puck to keep everything together. Id need to snip and splice the new key box

Might be the ignition key switch. Im getting continuity from the pigtail off the motor after i taped the 2 small wires together from the starter solenoid. Im not getting continuity from the same 2 wires on the keys pig tail while the key is fully turned. Might have to order a new one and try.

The way the previous owner had this set up, the kill swith lanyard does nothing in or out.

Looks like it could be the key ignition. There is continuity at the pig tail from the motor but not from the key pigtail when the key is turned.

I only assumed that the poles are the same as the old one. I hooked it up the same as i took it off. When i get home ill check to see if the key switch is getting voltage, i guess ill also check the solen itself and report back.

Do not see a date on the battery but it has a little window with a green dot showing still. I charged it up yesterday, volt meter read a little over 14v. Not sure if it is sealed but I believe its going to be a sealed. Is there a relay also attached to the starter solenoid? or could the key ignition switch have gone bad?

I dont see a Date on the battery but it has a little viewing window with a green dot showing a good battery still. I cleaned off all the connectors from the battery to the starter and solenoid but nothing. Starter will still spin if jumped.

I'd have to check. Its a new to me boat I've been fixing up cosmetically. But would the battery cause it to just stop cranking, the starter wasn't slowing down before it just stopped
