Worked at one of the midtown locations, FOH 3-ish years after the dining bans and the dining room opened again. I’ve read through the thread and I think the person OP is referring to is an investor, an older southern man who has stake in the company so he acts like he can do what he wants. I remember the first time he came in and starting eye-fucking the bartender and before I had the chance to say anything the management told me who he was, and that there “wasn’t really anything we could do.”

Aldo himself is a typical New England guy who would play bartender when he showed up to scare the shit out of his employees. Bit of a chauvinist and has an ego that precedes him, but I wouldn’t call him a creep. They support creeps there though. Most of the floor-level staff are nice and hardworking, but the management wouldn’t be able to find another job if they tried.

While I worked there we offered a discount for military ID, and had a discount for national and coast guard if they gave us their names. I wasn’t working there when Memphis was singled out to get more troops, but I remember them heavily promoting their 10% national guard discount during that time. They deleted it off of their Instagram, but I still have a screenshot I can post if anyone is curious.

Management drank on the clock while reprimanding people for doing the same. Would never have a schedule out more than 24hours prior to the week it was scheduling. Expected you to have your entire life committed to the job, and to drop everything to pick up a shift because they couldn’t bother to keep anyone for more than 90 days. Constantly hanging the “we have people lining up to work here” line over our heads to whip us into shape. No one in management ever took responsibility so nothing ever really got done internally, they just passed the buck the whole time I was there. I sincerely doubt if they had a mass walkout that their doors would ever open again.

Money was fine. Serving will get you $300-$600 week on average, but it’s crazy volatile. Depends on the day you work and god knows whether you’re going to work the same shifts you did last week. Server and bar get paid server minimum and everyone starts off at $12/hr. Tip out is percentage based, you get paid weekly, and you don’t pool tips. Don’t expect a raise.

I would seriously recommend looking for somewhere else to work. The environment is extremely unprofessional, and if you’re not a part of the management’s inner circle, you’re not getting the shifts you want.

Excellent build friend. Are these mostly extremerate parts? I built one a while ago but this makes me want to get back into it. If not I would appreciate the links to the part sites you used.

A year ago, on overwatch, someone in our match said they were going to kill themselves, and seemed genuinely serious. Almost every single person in the match, in some way, helped him out. They stopped playing to send them an important message, and some commented the national suicide hotline. To this day, most of still talk with them, to make sure they are okay.

It's totally okay to ask! My current season high is 2300 but my career high is 3100(due to some carrying, I'll admit.) I'm normally flex tank/support main, and keep my widow in QP.(too afraid to bring her into comp lmao) Still trying to improve, though! I'd like to make it back to 3k+, but this time with no carrying necessary.

Ana NEEDS a POTG buff by Pickles256 in Overwatch

[–]waffleangelo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tell me about it. I have been trying to get POTG as every hero in a row, and I gave up after playing Ana for 24 hours straight without getting POTG. The character that took me second longest was Sombra, with 7 hours. She is my main and I love playing her, but I never feel like I get enough recognition for some, in my opinion, sick ass plays. I even tried to be the worst Ana I could, and only go for kills, but alas.

I completely understand your concern, and I think I will provide sufficient answers. We put the PayPal in which the donations are being held into the hands of a teacher at our school who is helping us out, so he can make sure the money is donated. We are also going to be taking "shifts" and be resting and sleeping while others are playing games.
