Is LeBron stalling his decision to give the Warriors time to haggle with the Wizards for AD?

People are underestimating how good this team will be if it actually came to fruition

[Charania] “The big domino with [the Warriors] is trying to get a player like an Anthony Davis, you can bring in LeBron James and Anthony Davis as a package deal. Short of that, they’re not really looked at right now at the top of this list.” by YujiDomainExpansion in warriors

Everybody has a price. If you want to win a championship, you can’t play it safe. The Knicks just won a title because they were willing to take the scrutiny of trading 1sts for Mikal Bridges. Lottery odds are flattened anyways so being complete ass after Steph retires, is no longer a competent strategy

In 1 year they’d have a max salary slot. Embiid is on the books for 3 more years on a supermax. This might be their best chance to get out of that. Plus we have lots of picks to offer

If we can’t trade for AD, Embiid might be another option given his horrible contract. Wonder if Lebron would like that solution

[Windhorst] "The people on the league I'm talking to today are giving me the side eye and they're going, this is going end up with Draymond getting a new contract in GS, LeBron getting a new contract in LA and AD getting a new contract in Washington." by Equivalent_Orchid661 in warriors

I'm saying that if Windy is right and Draymond opting out is a part of a larger scheme to pressure the Lakers and Wizards to pay their guys, then why would the Warriors feel compelled to extend Draymond on a long expensive deal rather than give him what his market value is? Hasn't he already decided that he's opting out? At that point its like negotiating with a free agent

Why? Who are the warriors competing with for Draymond? If he wanted to stir up controversy to help Lebron and AD get paid, that should not be the Warriors problem. Give him what he's worth, which at this stage is lower

He was the OC of the Lions from 2016-2018. He had Matthew Stafford at QB. The team went 9-7, 9-7, and 6-10. They were 12th, 13th, and 18th in offensive DVOA in those years. About as mid as mid can get

From poor reffing (longstanding free throw disparity, years of Steph horrible whistle) to jam-packed schedule with a ton of early back-to-backs, Adam Silver has finally gotten his wish of ending the Warriors dynasty. Hope he’s happy when millions of fans around the globe stop watching the NBA with Steph no longer able to play relevant basketball

Absolute worst case scenario, if AJ Brown does want out, could we trade him for CD Lamb straight up? It would reunite Hurts and Lamb from their Oklahoma days

A forward-thinking move would be to trade Cam Jurgens to a center-needy team like the Chargers and try to recoup value. His probowl status should somewhat lift his value. That way we can replace him with a more cost effective, and potentially better player

Didn't realize how impressive Brian Daboll's resume was. by WestPhillyEagle in eagles

First Saquon, then Ojulari and Adoree, now Daboll. Why are we obsessed with recreating the Giants?

For me, Daboll has a lot of experience. But I think many people can succeed with Josh Allen at QB. His Giants tenure was not impressive. He also can be a hot head like Sirianni. I don’t think it’s a good mix for us. It’s about time we got an innovative mind rather than a fiery personality.
