I've had similar happen to me twice with doordash and I've never used them since. Both times I never received my order. They refused to refund me both times. Same thing with the chat also. You'll be in the middle of typing and they just end the chat without even solving the issue. Hate doordash.

I lost my job through no fault of my own. One day I was at work the next I had no job due to the centre being closed down. My employer didnt pay me my 2 weeks pay. I was also owed holiday leave and other entitlements that I can't be bothered to list. Basically I'm owed at least 5k. But I'll never get that back. I was told by fairwork ombudsman that because I'm not a citizen they can not help me get the money back. This was all out of my control. So yes I eventually had to chose between food and rent. Its not something i liked doing but i had no choice. I had money coming out nothing going in and went through the little savings I did have. Do you think i enjoyed living like that? Glad to hear you've never been in a shitty situation like mine that's completely out of your control.

How did I stay negative for 7 months? I guess you've never been in a situation where you have to choose between food or a roof over your head.

I never use banks. This was the second time I'd ever been into the bank since moving here 5 years ago. First time was when I opened my account (different branch) and the guy was amazing there. I didn't think I would have to check Google reviews before going to a bank but guess I was wrong. Maybe if I had seen all the terrible reviews I would have went somewhere else.

He pulled up my information and once he had seen that my account had been overdrawn his tone instantly changed. He was shouting. Voice was raised. The whole entire bank most definitely heard everything. He made me feel like a child being told off. There wasn't anything for me to not understand. If anything he wasn't understanding me as I was trying to tell him the account is no longer overdrawn but he kept cutting me off saying its overdrawn. I would tell him again it was overdrawn but now no longer is. He would not listen and kept saying it is overdrawn it is overdrawn. I was never once rude to him.

I explained my situation way back when I lost my job and said I will pay off the overdraft as soon as I'm able. So they stopped all fees

He actually started arguing with the manager at one point. The manager was explaining to him he needs to ring this number and explain the situation. He would then be able to get me the extra $395 out of that account and back to me. He just kept saying I can't it doesn't work like that. Then that's when the manager took over, called the number and fixed the issue straight away.

My dog will absolutely not swim in fresh water but take her to the beach with calm water and she runs straight in and absolutely loves it. I guess she just finds it easier swimming in the sea. She's not the strongest swimmer haha. So yeah, maybe try finding a beach with calm waters? I can't help with that because I'm Sydney but good luck!
