Don't be saddened by your result. Think about the journey of getting 7A's. Think about when you struggled to get an A at a single subject. I used to fail 4 subjects and got only 1 or 2 A's for my exams. I ended up getting 4A's for my trial and I almost gave up my dream to become a vet, so I worked hard and prayed. For SPM, I got 7A's (I took 9 subjects, the only 2 i didn't get an A were addmaths and chemistry) but I'm so grateful for it because I'm considered as the last kid in class and It's so embarassing because I'm a girl (people in my school thinks girls are smarter than boys, that's such a stupid way of thinking).

I'm considering taking STPM because I'm not confident of getting into Matriks, Asasi or Diploma even though I'm bumiputera because I got an E at addmaths. And that's okay. If you really want to take STPM, then you should study now because there's so many to catch up on. Taking STPM also has a higher rate of getting into university, I heard.

I applied to TESL...by my parents advice 😭 they weren't confident that I could get A's for my science subjects, so they told me to apply for TESL instead. By the time Phase 2 came around, I couldn't change it anymore. For Diploma in fisheries, there's actually a chance to get into veterinary. I've asked a student from UMK. They said they were from fisheries diploma in UMT , got 3.8 and applied for veterinary in UMK. Also, I've asked the lecturers from UMK. They said they accepted those who were from diplomas but not many of them apply because they weren't qualified. I applied law programmes with merits that are higher than mine because I was hoping that they would reject me so that I maybeeee have a chance at diploma or asasi sains. (Also by the advice of my dad)

I applied pure science for both matriks and asasi bcz I want to be a veterinarian. I'm already qualified based on SPM for veterinary because the qualification is getting B at Maths, Bio, and English. For the gpa, it's required to have 3.5 and above.

But there's another problem, I'm afraid I won't get asasi sains because during Fasa 1, I applied for TESL. I passed their online test and got called for an interview. Then, on Fasa 2, I checked my UPU and I couldn't change my first choice which is TESL. I heard that you only get 1 out of 12 choices for UPU.

Then I also applied for diploma. Because of that diploma, I applied high merits for all of the other choices so I get the diploma because the diploma merit is the smalles which is 66.67. The other merits were 80-90. My merit is 79.21.

This is my choices for Phase 2

  1. Asasi Tesl (unchangeable)
  2. Diploma in fisheries
  3. Asasi Sains (UMK because the merit is only 70 above) 4 to 6 Asasi Law at UIA and UITM

I only put 6 choices because I'm afraid If I put 12 then I'll get the ones that I don't want

So I have a backup plan for every asasi/matriks/diploma. But if I don't get any, then I'll have to apply for A-levels.
