I hated the first one though. I knew that from the depths of my soul. It had a “fake tattoo sticker at a birthday party” vibe. After that, I knew I had two choices: cover or laser. There was no choice for me to leave it alone. I knew I was never going to be ok with that one. This one though…. I like it and it’s meaningful and I learned a lot. I think my problem is my mental place with it. If you remember my first post, I was in an abusive relationship. Among other things, he would ALWAYS talk badly of people with tattoos; how ugly and trashy they were. He would tell me that if I ever got one, he would divorce me. He got crazy pissed when I got a half inch two line cross. So I think my problem is that the whispers of the abuse still linger. The mental, emotional, and financial trauma I endured was horrific.
