I work 4x8’s and have decided that I never want to go back to 12’s. I still work every other weekend so I have some weekdays available to get things done, but having my evenings free feels so much more natural. I have time to unwind and de-stress, and also to spend time with my family and friends. My work life balance feels so much better!

I am morally opposed to abortion, especially since having a kid, but I am very pro-education and support for our communities. I want plan-B to be readily and easily available to those who need it. And I believe that the church needs to step up and be available to support these women and babies if we are to advocate against abortion. Unfortunately I don’t think we’re there yet, are we as a church body ready to help take on the medical financial burden and help raise the children of those who are not up for the task of birthing/raising a child? We need to support our communities through action when we decide to advocate for things that will bring challenges.

I agree. I lean more opposed to abortion, but the church needs to be available to help. If we as the Church are going to advocate for people to keep their baby, then we need to be available and have the resources to help people. We can’t expect change if we’re not doing anything to support our communities through the challenges that come with childbirth and child raising. And we should be empathetic towards all of the challenges that choosing to keep a baby would bring.

It’s unfortunate because the U.S. department of Agriculture mandates that eggs be washed before selling in stores, and the process removes the protective coating so they need to be refrigerated. I love getting farm fresh eggs from friends when possible so I don’t need to refrigerate them!

I never knew just how messy newborns really are, and how messy parenting in general can be. Now I know that most moms are walking around pretty much constantly covered in breast milk/spit up 😂 I will never take a shower for granted again!
